This unique Chikmagalur-based women-led coffee collective is run by Kathyayini Muddiah and Rakhee Vishwanath who endeavour to start a revolution in specialty coffee by focusing not just on processing but helping the producers by letting go of their old practices, unlearning old methodologies and inculcating new methods. The three coffees — Vayu, Akasha and Chandra — are named after the elements of nature and refer to different coffee processing methods.
