Okayti Premium Darjeeling Second Flush Tea

Vadham’s selection of premium loose leaf teas are all from high quality, single tea estates.

Each box contains 100g of loose leaf tea which should brew 50 cups of tea.

Flavour profile: A delicious chinary muscatel tea with smooth flavors of oak wood, drupes, and hints of tart.

Brewing recipe:  For 1 cup, steep 2 gm (approx 1 tablespoon) of tea for 3-5 minutes in water heated to 90-100 degrees C

This premium black loose leaf tea has smooth flavors of oak wood and drupes. The leaves are medium-sized, tightly-rolled, with some brown flakes, and interspersed with a few tips. This infusion carries zesty notes that resemble the taste of fresh plums and dried berries. The liquor, although sharp at times, is largely smooth, full-bodied and ample in the mouth. It carries faint notes of tart which enhance the overall experience of this prime muscatel. It starts out on a dry and a slightly bitter note but turns wonderfully flavorful in the middle. The flavors become prominent in the aftertaste which rounds up the whole experience of this exquisite tea.
